Inglewood Manor’s wedding co-ordinator is on hand to help make each wedding a unique experience. It can seem like the list of things to remember is endless, but the devil needn’t be in the detail. Use our checklist to help you plan your wedding arrangements, and please don’t hesitate to ask for advice.

12 months before…

• Choose a date
• Set your budget
• Book church/registry office
• Visit Inglewood Manor
• Decide on catering & accommodation requirements
• Confirm venue booking in writing enclosing deposit  
• Book musicians/band/DJ for reception
• Book photographer and videographer
• Book wedding transport
• Book florist
• Book toastmaster if required
• Book honeymoon and apply for new passport
• Order wedding cake
• Start looking for wedding dress
• Decide on bridesmaids, ushers and Best Man
• Confirm all bookings in writing

26 weeks before…

• Pay 25% of the estimated total to Inglewood Manor

6 months before…

• First wedding dress fitting
• Choose your shoes and accessories
• Choose wedding attire for best man, bridesmaids, fathers, mothers and ushers
• Choose wedding rings
• Order wedding favours
• If you are changing your name, notify bank, building society and authorities and give date of change.
• Order wedding invitations
• Take out wedding insurance
• Decide on hairstyle with hairdresser
• Book beautician if required

3 months before…

• Buy marriage license from registrar
• Decide on wedding list
• Send out wedding invitations
• Advise guests to book accommodation
• Confirm ceremony details with registrar/minister
• Decide on wedding music/hymns
• Arrange printing of Order of Service sheets
• Buy gifts for best man, ushers and bridesmaids
• Discuss seating plan with Inglewood Manor
• Arrange to have vaccinations, if required
• Start to plan hen/stage parties

1 month before

• Final fitting of wedding dress
• Reconfirm arrangements with Inglewood Manor
• Reconfirm flowers
• Reconfirm arrangements with photographer/videographer
• Reconfirm honeymoon
• Have hen/stag parties
• Finalise seating plan with Inglewood Manor
• Arrange wedding rehearsal
• Chase up guest who haven’t yet RSVP’d
• Organise date to pick up wedding outfits

14 days before…

• Pay balance to Inglewood Manor

7 days before…

• Have wedding rehearsal
• Pack for honeymoon
• Wear-in wedding shoes
• Give order of Service sheets to minister
• Order foreign currency/travellers cheques

The day before…

• Have the day off
• Get manicure
• Groom to barber for tidy up and shave
• Relax and get an early night

The Big Day…(adjust timings to suit!)

8.00	Get up, have relaxing shower/bath
8.30	Have a good breakfast
9.30	Have hair styled
11.00	Best man collects luggage/cards/telegrams
11.30	Arrive at Inglewood Manor if changing there Bridesmaids/pageboys arrive
12.00	Have make-up done
12.30	Get dressed
13.00	Photographer arrives for pre-arranged photos
13.30	First car takes mother and bridesmaids
13.45	Second car takes bride and father
14.00	Here comes the bride!
